Just because historians sometimes work with old mouldy documents, doesn't mean that we're technophobes! There is history on the web! Canadian History On The Web is meant as a resource to get you started on your search for historical sites. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list, but merely a sampling of what types of history related web pages are out there (and I take no responsibility as the quality or accuracy of the sites listed). Let me know if you find anything that you feel should be included here. I apologize for the lack of materials listed for Canada's other official language. Many of the sites are indeed available in French or as bilingual sites, and I regret that it is due to my own linguistic limitations that I am unable to assess and recommend them individually, as I would have liked to have done.
Canadian History on the Web first went online on 03/04/1996. Last updated: some time ago--I'm working on updates (no really!).
